Edinborough began in 1973 when visionary entrepreneur Mr. C.M.M.R. Pasha who is having a Indian Origin started making cordials at home for a very limited market. Yet he did start the business with a clear vision. With the initial success, he periodically introduced Soya sauce, Tomato sauce, Jams, Chutneys to the local market. In a short period of time it reached to the consumer as “Edinborough Products”.

Edinborough range includes Sauces, Chutneys, Pickles, Jams, Cordials Concentrate Juices, Syrups, Chili paste, Mustard cream, Corn flour, etc.

Oxford Cream Crackers

A long time ago, in 1922, Oxford Biscuits was founded in Hjørring, Denmark. The owner was Jørgen Storm and he hired a Swedish biscuit master, Eric R. Anderson, to be in charge of biscuit production.

Unfortunately, Jørgen Storm died in 1934, and the three children of his sister and brother-in-law took the reins at Oxford Biscuits. It was no easy task, but they managed to grow the business in the subsequent years – even during World War II. The wheat harvest failed completely one year, and Oxford Biscuits had to make do using rye flour. Nevertheless, the company made it through the war financially. Revenue grew after the war, and Oxford Biscuits established a warehouse in Copenhagen and started using advertising to strengthen sales. Shortly thereafter, Swedish consumers were able to enjoy crispy biscuits from Oxford Biscuits, which subsequently reached Africa and Asia as well. Oxford Biscuits had eventually reached a size and volume that made a splash internationally. To acknowledge this, King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid visited the factory in Hjørring in July 1951. This big day was duly celebrated.
